White Light has confirmed another significant investment in next-generation performance lighting technology with its purchase of the new Martin MAC Encore Two from exclusive UK distributor Live Technology. This acquisition, the first UK shipment of the MAC Encore Two, reinforces White Light’s commitment to delivering cutting-edge solutions across theatre, broadcast, and live events, while further strengthening its long-standing partnership with Live Technology and the Martin Professional brand.
The MAC Encore Two represents the latest evolution of Martin’s industry-proven LED profile platform. Building on the legacy of the original Encore Series, the new fixture delivers higher output, enhanced colour rendition, and refined optical precision - combining the brightness required for large scale productions with the nuanced control demanded by theatrical designers.
Dominic Yates, Head of Lighting at White Light, comments:
“This investment ensures that our clients have immediate access to one of the most anticipated profile fixtures currently entering the market. Early adoption provides production teams with creative headroom, while supporting more sustainable touring and installation models thanks to lower power consumption and reduced maintenance requirements. We were impressed by its output and received great feedback from our clients when we showcased the fixture at our New Technology Showcase earlier this year.”
Joshua Wakley for Live Technology adds:
“White Light’s decision to secure the first MAC Encore Two shipment into the UK clearly demonstrates their confidence in both the product’s technical capability and its commercial viability across multiple market sectors. We’re really happy to continue supporting their Martin rental fleet, which already includes MAC Viper XIP, MAC Aura XIP, MAC Aura Raven XIP, ELP PAR IP and Macula.”
